  1. Well the day of the parent forum was pretty hectic. My role in the parent forum was that I was a speaker during the presentation. I talked about how parents can help if their child is ever going through a situation with cyberbullying. But after I presented I notice that I needed work on my speaking skills. I think all of us did. But overall is wasn't so bad and the organization was good for it being last minute.

  2. The day of the parent forum was very hectic. Mostly everyone didn't know about it till the day before or even the day of the forum. But for being so short notice I thought the forum was very organized. I was in charge of the information booth, explaining what the pamphlets said. It went pretty good I thought people wouldn't want it but a lot of people actually wanted it .

  3. In the Cyber- Bully parent forum I helped out with the kids and the signing out. It was so fun because when me and Adam were trying to figure out how to put the movie on and Memo and Adam were playing games with the little kids. Then the movie finally started. It was a cool experience because I got to be part of an actual parent forum about Cyber- Bullying. On the cyber bully prezi I helped with finding stories of people who were Cyber- bullied.

  4. The day of the parent forum was very confusing because we didn't know what to do in the job we had to do. I was in the snack section but the snacks never came. I had to leave like 5 minutes early because of the basketball.

  5. The day of the parent forum was a great experience because I developed skills in helping and making things possible for other people to be informed about whats happening around the community. My role was take a care of kids, it went pretty well because I helped take pillows down for the kids to sit when I put on the movie. I helped organize where we were going to put the movie. It was a successful forum, parents looked excited as they walked in. I felt really excited that I helped out and it was for a good cause, and I also felt really proud to be a part of something that effects others in a good way.

  6. In the parent forum, I helped in the sign-out. I did notice that it gets disastrous because everybody wants to leave quick and they want to get their parent forum hours. Meanwhile the parents were inside I took care of the little kids for a while. It seemed that they were really into the movie. Once the parents came out I was there to tell them where to sign out. It went pretty well though. Pamphlets were given out with a lot of information and the parents seemed satisfied with it.

  8. The day of the parent forum we were all over the place. We had to make a prezi so that it suited everyone's role. My role was as translator during the presentation and expert at the end if there was any questions. I translated for Amy who's role was to define Cyber bullying. I also translated for Alondra who's role was the importance of knowing about Cyber bullying. The presentation of the prezi didn't go as planned some of the information was in the wrong order but we got through it and went on with the forum. As my role of expert nothing really happened because none of the parents asked any questions.

  9. The day of the parent forum, it was crazy! Everyone was nervous running around trying to hook up the computers. Adam, Diana, and I set up movie for the kids. We had to go to Mr. Shojis room and barrow his computer and projector. It was hard because the movie didn't want to play, so the kids were getting mad and loud telling us to hurry. It was fun being a part of the parent forum, we all did a good job doing our jobs. It was a job well done.

The parent forum was excellent I am happy to say that I think we did a good job. My group and I choose to present at the parent forum for extra credit. Each member of my group and the other groups that wanted to come for extra credit had to choose something that they were going to do at the parent forum. For example I choose to help babysit the kids. Since parents sometimes have know one to watch their children they have now choose, but to them along. My job was to keep the kids entertained and happy. We had to set up an area where the children could sit and enjoy a movie. We had to go up and down the stairs bringing pillows and blankets. I think the hardest part was setting up the movie, but other then that I had a blast with the kids. The children were absolutely adorable. We passed out cookies, crackers and the kids that wanted to buy something from the food table one of us from the group went to take them. I think babysitting the children was fun and I would like to do this again.

  11. The parent forum actually went pretty smooth. I thought it was going to be chaotic but i got to say i was wrong. I helped do sign-outs for the parents. I also helped with the baby sitting that was much easier than I thought. The kids were actually listening they were quiet and with the movie they were more relaxed. This was a great parent forum I look forward to something similar.

  13. In the parent forum I had a lot of fun. My part was the sigh in and out but sense it was changed to the end of the forum I went to go help with baby sitting. In the baby sitting the movie wasn't working so me and Adam were trying to keep the kids calm by playing little games and saying jokes. Then after the movie was playing we went to get the extra cookies and we passed them out to the children. Then once the forum was done I also helped pass out papers and thank them for coming. -Jose Ramirez

I helped out by just setting up the tables and didn't really do much, but overall the forum went well.

There was a lot of chaos , kids running to be where they had to be , parents not knowing where to go , on top of that there was a basketball game. I was helping with the information table. Give parents the chance to know more about cyber bulling. My parents said it was a great job for being the first time we ever did it. It would be nice to be in another Parent from. It gave me a start on knowing how it feels to talk in front of a crowd. I imaged it being a few people but there was a lot of them. It was still a fun project to do.

  24. The parent forum was crazy. Especially at the end. But it was a good experience for us to work on our presentation skills. We had to set up everything before the forum started and had to make sure everything was ready. The basketball game made it a little more crazy but not that much. I was helping on the snack table. The down side is that they never brought the snacks that were supposed to be sold so we just stood there but then we set up the other tables for the other stations. It was a little hard to organize everything but we pulled it off.

  25. In the parent forum it was very crazy and made me think about how they actually organize these things . I think we did a pretty good job because most of us actually did what we were supposed to. Also we were nervous about how the presenters would do . We were all going crazy trying to set up on time . At the end of the day it was actually fun to try to organize stuff on our own . We had our fun when we knew we did a good job.

  27. What I did in the parent forum was translate during the presentation. It was really tricky because languages don't translate perfectly. I think that my partner and I did a very good job on presenting. We fixed the presentation at the last minute but we did good.

In the parent forum I saw a lot of people that were dressed formal and ready to perform. I thought the performance was excellent it was interesting to see all the different ways people have been harassed and how many took their lives away just because of a joke. It was also interesting to see how the most of these people were my age and they were so young and they took their lives away because of a stupidity. I was really into the stories of how it all usually start’s through “Facebook” and “Myspace” . But I also learned that know matter how much pressure you're in you should always keep your head up and be who you are. I also learned that if you're ever in trouble in any way you should ask an adult for help. Also never solve any problem with violence because then you’re a problem to and you would probably not want that.

In the parent forum I went from regular Hector to ASSISTANT of THE MS.Espinoza. I was very excited and nervous at the same time cause it's not everyday Ms.Espinoza chooses me to be her assistant. What i did was help her out in anything she needed help on for example if she needed me to take her cart down to the MPR i would do it and if she needed help on translating things i would do it even though i didn't do it very well but i still did it. well thats what i did at the parent forum.

At the Parent Forum, I was in the Babysitting Team. We had all the kids in the museum area with pillows on the floor and we put them to watch a movie. The movie that they were watching was Cars. There was more little boys than little girls so that's how we ended up watching that movie, because we gave them choices on what movies to watch. It was really fun. The purpose of the Parent Forum was to inform parents about CyberBullying and what it can lead to.

  35. I think doing this project of presenting in front of the parents was very exciting but really hard. All though i still think i had so much fun doing this and all thanks to the best digital teacher Ms. Espinoza. But i do have to admit i was very nervous of presenting the Prezi in front of the teachers because their were so many of them. But i'm glad Ms.Espinoza let us have an experience of doing this fun and amazing project. So thank You Ms.Espinoza(:

In the parent forum my job was to babysit with some other students as well. AT first we had trouble putting the movie on for them and quieting down the children. After a while they settled down while watching the movie Cars. We had a fair count on which movie we should watch between 3 movies: Cars, Little Mermaid, and Nemo. I had a fun time taking care of the kids, they weren't so much trouble. The forum was about Cyber bullying and the consequences on Cyber Bullying.

  37. The whole day of the forum was crazy, people were running all over the place trying to get things organized. There were about 20 kids helping out we all had our own stations. MS. Espinoza looked nervous fixing all the last minute things and getting everything moving. I had to pass pout information booklets at the Info table. I had worked with 2 other girls. As the parents walked out with their kids they said It was a entertaining and fun forum. I think it was a good expirience.

In the parent forum I presented a true story about a student that was cyber-bullied and had a very hurtful consequence.Having to take the time in doing this project was actually pretty fun we had laughs and ate cookies.:) I just really hope the parent forum helped parents understand that cyber bully is a very serious problem.
Thank you Ms. Espinoza for letting us participate in this very fun and educated project.
